So sorry to hear about the passing of Mick Cooper!! I knew
Mick from the early 60’s and did my AH2’s Course with him in
‘63. I also had a good talk with him at Blackpool. Our
condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P. Shipmate.

I knew Mick on the Victorious 63-64 Commission, Mick myself,
Bobby Sedgwick and a few other lads brought in the New Year [63]
sitting on the floor of the Brit-club in Singers. What a night
that was.
Condolences from Wee Mac, R.I.P. Mick.

Mick was a good mate whilst on the “Vic” 63-64 and like Wee
Mac was probably sitting on the floor in the Brit-Club (soaking
wet) on that New Year run-a-shore. He, with a few others flew
home with me in August ‘64 to attend my wedding when he did me
the honour of being my ‘Best Man’ I’m so glad that I was able to
meet up with him again after nearly 40 years at his home, in
Liverpool and this year in Blackpool.
R.I.P. Mick - will miss you.
